Unfortunately for Rep. Jeff Wood, it looks like at least part of that image was cultivated with fluorescent light bulbs.
Nevertheless, a tip of the cap to one legislator who understands that a fresh spin was needed on all these tired, leggie OWI stories. Thanks for keeping things fresh.
State Rep. Jeff Wood on Monday apologized for his "irresponsible behavior" last week when he was arrested in Columbia County for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Gotta remember that deep down he's a libertarian. So there is no cognitive dissonance from having pot in the car.
Yeah. All the cognitive dissonance there comes from his support of ethanol subsidies.
You know what they say... Libertarians are just Republicans who like to smoke pot.
Sure, he's an ethanol whore. Sometimes you gotta take a vote for your district. Sorta like Paul Ryan and the auto bailout.
Oh, I agree completely. But it's all the more ironic since Wood tries to fancy himself a libertarian.
Judas had to spend his 30 pieces of silver on something, why not some booze and ganja?
And Wood thought AssGOP caucuses were hard on him...isn't he facing some jail time...or is that what being an AssGOPer was all about for him? Hmmm.
Given the Journal Sentinel's column today (12/22) on his troubles with alcohol, you have to wonder what those working on campaigns were doing. They can't do a simple CCAP search on an opponent? What's more, they apparently must have known about some of his history given his first race and didn't look into it. How lazy or incompetent is that?
All that stuff in the MJS story is old news. The first OWI and the incident with the underage girl were both raised in Wood's first campaign.
